I am a neuroscientist and educator with a Ph.D. from Yale University and extensive experience in academic research, teaching, and mentorship. My research has focused on the neural and genetic mechanisms underlying social behavior, and I bring strong analytical skills with expertise in MATLAB, Python, and R. As a committed educator, I’ve taught university-level courses in neuroscience, physiology, and medical theory across the U.S. and Europe. I am passionate about advancing diversity in STEM, demonstrated through founding and leading mentorship programs for underrepresented students. I’m currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, where I support research and grant development in neurosurgery.
