    As a Senior Sustaining Engineer with a focus on Maintenance Excellence, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of our company's products and systems throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance-related issues, implement improvements, and drive continuous optimization of maintenance processes.

    A Day in the Life

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Supports in-service operating systems to ensure continued operation and maintenance and optimization throughout.
  • Determines, selects and implements technically feasible and economically viable alternatives for sustainment.
  • Analyses and evaluates how to improve a system and/or equipment's sustainability under continued operation, maintenance and unexpected change.
  • Develops and implement strategies to optimize maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Collects and evaluates service use and maintenance data; conducts root-cause analyses of in-service problems (e.g., operational hazards, deficiency reports, parts obsolescence, corrosion effects, reliability and maintainability trends, safety hazards, and failure causes and effects) and implements corrective action.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure products are designed for easy maintenance.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and increase equipment uptime.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation and procedures.
    • Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

    ·Must Have, Proven track record of implementing maintenance best practices and driving process improvements.

    ·Must Have, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    ·Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    ·Experience working with cross-functional teams.

    ·Must Have, Knowledge of reliability engineering principles

    ·Must Have, Proficiency in maintenance management software tools.

    ·Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.

    ·Project Management certified.

    ·Lean Méthodologies knowledge.

    ·Professional certification in maintenance management.

    ·Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

    ·Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies.

    ·Familiarity with regulatory requirements for maintenance in specific industries.

    ·Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.

    ·Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

    ·Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    ·Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
