    As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer/Architect , you will support the Digital Thread initiative in visualization, algorithm development, and other analyses. In this role you will implement solutions for data gathering, analyses, and final presentation to end users.

    This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

    What YOU will do:

  • You will perform data analysis using Pandas in Python
  • You will follow and complete stories/tasks in an Agile Scrum project
  • You will design, implement, and document CI/CD Pipelines
  • You will coordinate and validate data flow/delivery with data engineering groups
  • You will work on the administration of analytics and data visualization tools/environments
  • You will perform code review, versioning, and production deployment
  • You will work with Service groups to learn and gather requirements for analytics/visualization needs
  • You will create meaningful visualizations for delivery to stakeholders
  • You will develop Analytics Dashboards to present and organize visualizations
  • You will implement business concepts using ontology
  • You will provide support to engineering teams to use the digital thread in root cause investigations
  • You will collaborate with data governance team to implement a data dictionary
  • You will automate analyses and data cleaning procedures via Workflows
  • You will research machine learning libraries and algorithms for different tasks
  • You will implement machine learning experiments and develop new algorithms
  • You will perform statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity of a data source
  • You will organize and maintain data in a cloud environment

  • Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 5 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Qualifications you must have:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • 3+ years working experience with Python and Pandas.
  • Skills we value:

  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Tableau and/or any other visualization tool experience
  • Database and SQL experience is a plus
  • Mentoring/Coaching experience is a plus
  • SAP Knowledge and Experience is a value
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies
  • Experience using JIRA/ Confluence
  • Experience with Databricks, AWS S3, GitHub
