    Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies tailored to the medical device industry, including sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop job descriptions that attract top talent.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and industry events, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, phone screens, and in-person interviews, to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and pre-employment screenings, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), track key recruitment metrics, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, staffing firms, and other talent sources to augment recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Ensure system compliance and completeness by creating new requisitions upon request, attaching all related documentation to the electronic requisition record, posting job openings internally and/or externally within established guidelines, coordinating with the Learning Center and Human Resources department for new hire processes documentation and activities, facilitating evaluations related to new hires with the Dispensary area, and providing training to managers and agencies on our applicant tracking system as requested by management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition and employment, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice within the manufacturing industry.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and other related regulations to uphold fair and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to exercise strong judgment skills and appropriate discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal effectively with change, including last-minute problem-solving in high-visibility situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with internal client groups, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition team members and candidates.
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels within the organization.
  • Possess strong organizational and workforce planning skills with a detail-oriented focus for accuracy and precision in process management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette.
  • Experience developing external candidate pipelines through direct sourcing and networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in interview techniques and tactics.
  • Skilled at presenting and communicating to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Intermediate level MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Preferred experience working with DE&I strategies and sourcing tactics.
  • 6+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates for manufacturing roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of workforce planning, recruitment strategies, tools, and techniques, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate assessment methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Labor Legislation and Affirmative Action Plan implementation, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements and best practices in workforce management and diversity initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
