- Lead Operations at or under department budget.
- Has autonomous authority to act proactively to complete day-to-day and monthly production activities and schedule within the framework of the overall strategic direction and vision established through the Plant goals.
- Ensures consistency to plant safety & environmental policies & procedures.
- Seeks continuously opportunities to improve safety and quality reducing complexity & waste/ defects.
- Mentor & develop employees, recruit adequate staff.
- Assure that Standard Operating procedures and new changes to procedures are understood and followed.
- Cultivate a mindset of safety first and quality culture among subordinates.
- Overall responsibility of ensuring production equipment & operations facilities in good state as per operational safety, design and quality requirements.
- Decisions requiring quality interpretations and GMP compliance rest with the Quality Director, or QMR, with inputs from the position.

Your role at Baxter:
Overall accountability for the Manufacture of anesthetics Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients following the guidelines established by the standard operating procedures and applicable regulations in a safe, productive, efficient manner at or under budgeted production costs. Assures product is manufactured in an efficient, safe and productive manner, with the minimal loss possible, and in a timely manner to stay in sync with required customer orders release times and the Quality/compliance standards required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering– Chemical (Preferred), Mechanical
Job Experience:
Three (5) to five (8) years' experience in Manufacturing Processes (Chemical/Pharmaceutical Plants)
Qualifications:
Computer Literate
Knowledgeable on Chemical Processes and equipment (Chemical Plants)
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
Project Management Knowledge/Skills
Knowledgeable on process and equipment validations
Financial Accumen
