- Design and optimize laser processing techniques for the manufacturing of medical devices.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and product performance.
- Conduct process validation in accordance with FDA regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to integrate new products into production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues affecting production.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and validation reports.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay abreast of advancements in laser technology and evaluate their potential applications in our manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with laser processes.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulatory requirements related to medical device manufacturing.
- Proven track record of improving processes and implementing robust manufacturing solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
