    Collins Aerospace Global Engineering & Technology Center in Puerto Rico (GETC-PR) is looking for a Test Engineer professional with a passion for problem solving and delivering solutions that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise.

    This position will assist with the implementation and support of Teamcenter as PLM system for the Landing Gear business. Will also involve working with Collins Digital Technology to ensure the new PLM system delivers on all required business processes. The goal is to ensure business continuity at Go-Live. This position will be working directly with the Landing Gear Implementation Lead.

    This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop standard and functionally specific user test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) that includes clear objectives and success criterion. These will include:xClass IntegrationEngineering Change ProcessNew Part/Document Creation/Approval/ReleaseCAD Integration with CATIASAP Integration to transfer Material Master, DIR Revision and BoM
  • Develop accompanying Standard Job Instructions (SJIs) to complete the test cases defined.
  • Perform test cases during UAT
  • Support, as required, with Data Cleansing activities prior to Go-Live to ensure current data is clean prior to migration.
  • Support users of Teamcenter with the following:Completing Permissions workflowsUpdate/Maintain Permissions changesCreate and provide training as neededIdentify potential issues and fixesFix and test bugs with system updatesPerform updates/maintenance on existing workflowsTroubleshoot issues identified by usersCreate reports request by usersUpdate/Create work instructions as requested
  • Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPEC Teamcenter Experience using Active Workspace Client (AWC) and/or Rich Application Client (RAC)
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the Engineering Change Process
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in PLM systems with workflows
  • Experience writing Standard Job Instructions and/or Work Procedures
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
