    A Brief Overview

    The Corporate Communications Officer creates and implements multiple forms of communication activities and programs within the organization, devising strategies and producing clear and well-written content in Spanish and English, to help align the organization's goals with employees' , is responsible for enhancing the Corporation's internal and external communications capabilities, which include improving communications, educating the communications team on best practices, identifying ways to improve the flow of communications, and advising the communications team on planning and creating content pieces.

    What You'll Need to Succeed

  • ·Prepares and executes comprehensive communications plans; develops and delivers the evolving communications strategy of the businesses assigned and tracks KPIs and effectiveness metrics.
  • ·Create and implement public relations initiatives to support the Corporate Strategic Plan in alignment with marketing and institutional efforts, including external events such as press conferences, product launchings, branch openings, stockholder's meetings, client events (social and educational), and community events.
  • ·Implements well-written communication strategies in Spanish and English and promotes the observance of the standards for effective communication such as including all relevant information clearly and concisely within an appropriate timeframe. Edits and rewrites texts/copies to improve clarity and readability. Also, proofreads texts, corrects spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors in other communications, and interprets creative direction and technical information and turns them into persuasive and well-written copy concepts in Spanish and English.
  • ·Maintains excellent media relations to maximize positive news coverage, providing reporters with interesting news angles and using creativity to promote awareness of the bank and its products/services.
  • ·Monitors media, government, and the business community to identify possible issues affecting the Bank's reputation.
  • ·Manages editorial meetings with the Communications and Marketing writing teams to discuss stories, generate story ideas for internal channels, share best practices, and establish communications calendars.
  • ·Actively participate in corporate committees to ensure that key messages impacting employees are communicated clearly and on time.
  • ·Manages assigned budget and establishes measurable objectives and constantly monitors results to adjust plans when necessary.

  • What You'll Need

  • ·Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields is required. Master's degree is preferable.
  • ·(3) three to (5) five years of experience in Corporate Communications or public relations, with a solid background in written communications.
