Cognitus seeks a Sr. Data Migration Consultant to join our team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

We are looking for cross functional consultants to join our Alchemy team using the Cognitus Alchemy platform to perform data migration activities. Candidates should be familiar with SAP functionality, have experience in implementations, and understand the basics of ETL. This person will collaborate closely with our customer and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client's satisfaction. This person will also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for this client.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.

· Investigate, analyze, and solve system issues.

· Assist with technical and business issues.

· Adapt at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.

· Assist with unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing.

· Provide effective and timely communications to management, peers, and others.

· Work with SAP functional consultants analyzing data migration requirements.

· Work with the client in Data Quality, Profiling and Cleansing, Data harmonization

· Functional Specification Mapping

· Conversation action rules

· Maintaining cross reference files

· Designing and creating business rules

· Functional Knowledge of the workstream

· Data Validation

· Coordination with cutover team according to project plan

· Point of contact/Liaison for part-time data validators

· Completion of Data Validation reports

· Determination of data quality/accuracy percentages

· Data Construction

· Populate data construction templates (DCT) based on process design decisions.

· Work with non-SAP legacy sites to bring them up to speed on process design.

· Consistently review and update DCT files leading up to load cycles

· Able to follow, track and manage a plan provided to them, work with data migration practice and offshore team.

· Willing to travel as needed.

Required Skills:

· Minimum 6-10 years of experience in SAP ECC or SAP S4 HANA Data Conversion/Migration and Master Data Management experience in SAP ECC is required.

· Strong management skills with the proven ability to drive business to the completion of mock loads, data cleansing, transformation rules creation/tracking, and the ability to execute to the plan.

· Expertise in Material Management including Configuration, Master and Transaction data and Procurement scenarios.

· Interacting with multiple teams (i.e., functional teams, development teams, client business teams, and others) to identify gaps.

· Experience with entire Data Migration process, especially with global template model and experience to load the data independently.

· Experience in migrating data using staging tables and direct transfer in SAP S/4HANA legacy transfer migration cockpit (LTMC)

· Responsible for Pre-Load and Post Load data validation

· Troubleshoot Data Migration issues.

· Participate in technical requirement workshops, performing technical and design analysis through multiple client environments.

· Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including presentation skills.

· Excellent with MS Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, Project)

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or Data Science

· Bilingual
