    The Associate, Retail Lending (Quality & Data Entry) is primarily responsible for document validation, disbursement preparation and funding of solar panel loans in compliance with Oriental Bank Credit Policy and guidelines. This position will be working hybrid and is based in Oriental Center building, San Juan, PR.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the pipeline to ensure all applications are processed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Review and confirm that solar panel loan information follows Oriental Bank guidelines and procedures.
  • Process the corresponding payments and accounting entries on Oriental Bank systems.
  • Creates necessary invoices and journal entries to complete the loan booking.
  • Support monthly consumer products business goals are reach as establish in the strategy plan.
  • Responsible for the coordination of disbursement appointments and pending documents with clients.
  • Responsible for the quality of income verification on all personal loans closed.
  • Monitor and implement changes as necessary to assure quality customer service.
  • Ensure that all transactions are carried out according to the institution standards and the regulatory agencies guides.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business administration or related required.
  • One (1) year of experience in administration, customer service or sales required.
  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting systems and other business applications required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English required.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to work effectively with clients is required.
  • Excellent aptitude to work with multiple deadlines and changing task priorities.
