JOB TITLE --- Sr Materials Engineer

LOCATION ----- Aguadilla PR - Onsite 5 days/week during training. Possible Hybrid after.

Duration Months Contract (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Description:

Use your knowledge of materials engineering to plan for the most cost-effective utilization of materials within Client. You will work with cross functional teams to recommend engineering and manufacturing improvements to attain design objectives in the most economical manner possible. You will work to determine the appropriate materials needed to achieve successful completion of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost effective materials planning

• Applies material science knowledge

• Recommend changes to attain objectives

• Reviews blueprints

• Reviews specifications

• Determines appropriate material levels

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

• 2+ years in Should cost, Manufacturing OR Materials management

• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
