- Project Lead Estimator
- Lead the estimation process for projects, including reviewing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
- Analyze project requirements and develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
- Prepare bid proposals and participate in bid presentations to clients.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget.
- Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and project team members.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform cost estimation decisions.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project estimation.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in estimating software/tools (e.g., RSMeans, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
