- Initiate and coordinate Class 1 and Class II engineering changes and deviations utilizing the Collins Configuration Control Board process
- Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) part level ownership including communication, risk management and project requirements
- Present to Engineering and Program Management as well as Customer representatives
- Coordinate design changes with customers (Internal and External) and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute several complex tasks
- Drive cost reduction projects
- Analyze component reliability metrics for improvement opportunities
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
- Teamcenter, MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel experience
- Experience working across a highly matrixed organization, including team members, suppliers, and customers
- Experience with task detail planning, budget planning and project execution
- Component testing experience
- Experience with Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA)
- Continuous Improvement training or experience.
- Experience with identifying critical chokepoints in processes and develop analytics to support.
