Opportunity Summary: As the Single Face Operator, you will be responsible for operating the B, C and E flute single facer, including installation of paper on roll stands to make the best quality board to customer specifications.

How you will impact WestRock:

Inspect and perform quality assurance checks to lookout for paper defects or quality problems of products and promptly and accurately report findings.

Assure rolls are installed safely and properly, keep paper aligned and make splice.

Adjust steam and starch.

Efficiently complete set up times.

Identify orders properly.

Properly identify grades and paper.

Maintain production and traceability records.

Maintain waste and efficiency standards.

Perform preventative maintenance (i.e. cleaning, change film rolls) on equipment to maintain machine efficiency.

Maintain full compliance of all GMP's.

Maintain a clean work environment and housekeeping standards.

Follow all safety protocols.

Participate in cross training program of other areas either at the corrugator or where needed.

Other duties assigned as needed.

What you need to succeed:

High School diploma or G.E.D.

2 years of work experience in a high workflow production environment preferred.

Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.

Meticulous attention to details, extremely thorough and adept at detecting errors.

Highly efficient in time management to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and maintain high performance; flexible.

Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment.

Ability to follow specific direction or instructions.

Ability to operate specialized tools.

Ability to lift, push or pull 25-50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift.

Ability to communicate with others at a long distance.

Ability to read and fill out manual or computerized reports promptly.

Must be able to work overtime, weekend and various shifts.
