    As a PD PMO Program Manager in our Villalba, PR manufacturing site, you will lead projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies to enable breakthrough process changes and improvements. You will lead cross functional teams, monitor the project from initiation to delivery, oversee and manage the operational aspects of the projects, serves as liaison between the manufacturing site and the operating unit and ensure activities are completed on time and in alignment to the strategic and tactical objectives of the Global Operations and Supply Chain (GO&SC) and the Operating Unit. You will be responsible to communicate with stakeholders, obtain their engagement and deliver project status to the upper management. You will have the opportunity to manage highly skilled diverse teams, passionate for success and driven in the pursuit of our mission, to alleviate pain, restores health and extend life. This position will report to the Site Engineering Director and will have a duration of 3 years.

    A Day in the Life

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
  • Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Nice to Have
  • Program/project management experience in the medical device or other highly regulated industry- Must
  • New Product / Process / Technology development experience.-Must
  • PMP certification -
  • Technical Writing- Must
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and management - Must
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills- Must
  • Strong Financial Acumen Knowledge- Must
  • Critical Thinking
