    As a Systems V&V Engineer , you will be responsible for working closely with system and software engineering teams to provide verification testing of Military Radios. You will also thrive on tackling challenges, as the position requires the use of problem-solving skills and an action-oriented mindset to address problems and, contribute to project goals.

    This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

    What YOU will do:

  • Identify project and product risks and escalate using the project's defined processes.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process, and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Participate in major reviews throughout the lifecycle (e.g. preliminary design review, critical design review, and test readiness review) as well as participating in peer reviews.
  • Make adjustments or recommended enhancements to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of a job area.
  • Perform systems analysis to derive function, performance, and interface requirements to satisfy the system requirements.
  • Perform system design activities (including trade studies) to ensure that the system architecture is compatible with the baselined product and is consistent across all subsystems and that the system design will meet the system level performance requirements.
  • Support technical risk analysis as required and plan, document and execute integration, verification, and validation activities.

  • Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Qualifications you must have:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • Skills we value:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Work and Excel; and Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software.
  • Experience with inventory control and process improvement.
  • Introductory knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards (EIA-632 or ISO/IEC
  • Systems engineering methodology, tools and procedures knowledge.
