    P atient Transportation Lead

    Location: This position is a Field based (4-5 days per week in-person with patients, members or providers) position may require up to 100% travel in the Metropolitan Region of Puerto Rico.

    The Patient Transportation Lead Ensure effective compliance of all patient transport services. Ensures the smooth operation of the Route Coordination Department, including the Coordination and Call Center areas.

    How You Will Make an Impact

    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Works daily reports of services coordinated and performed in the Department.
  • Identifies situations in the Route Coordination Department, reassigning and organizing staff according to operational needs in the Call Center and Coordination area.
  • Orients Patient Transport Representatives on the use of the patient transport system.
  • Assists in answering email referral situations.
  • Provides training to new employees and requests appropriate access.
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or related health care field, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
  • Category 4 Driver's License (Chauffer's license) in good standing.
  • Current National CPR Foundation Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtained within 15 days of hire.
  • Experience working with geriatric population is preferred.
  • Experience handling electronic equipment such as mobile phones and applications are preferred.
  • A current PR health certificate and a current PR Law 300 certificate are required for this position.
