- Provide triage and defect fixes to the QA teams during fit for purpose testing
- Support deployment teams during the transition of applications into production
- Validate application performance and sanity once implemented
- Identify and communicate known application errors and propose resolutions or escalate accordingly
- Track and Report transaction KPIs and error trends in production
- Execute Application Performance Monitoring using various tools
- Execute Server Performance Monitoring using various tools
- Proactively propose improvements to address common system errors being observed
- Proactively propose tuning activities to improve Server and Application Performance
- Implement (or support the implementation of) approved improvements
- Execute configuration changes that do not require core code development (sometimes during late maintenance windows)
- Document Software Configuration
- Document Environments (Logical and Physical)
- Works closely with vendors and contractors that provide implementation, maintenance, and support services for Provisioning platforms in LCPR
- Collaborates with IT Demand and OSS Designers on Newly requested solutions, (including, but not limited to, contributing to the scope and functionality of some change requirements to be implemented, providing technical and operational insights to developers)
- Collaborates with IT Delivery & QA teams on the release of solutions under scope (activities include, but are not limited to, test support and documentation)
- Collaborates with IT Operations by troubleshooting and resolving escalated OSS issues related to existing code or new releases (Tier 4 Support)
- Interacts with and actively supports Internal Customers to identify and resolve issues impacting operations
- Works within identified Project scope and Timeline giving attention to following all identified SOX control procedures
- Reviews all HLD documentation
- Contributes to IT roadmap and architecture definition
- Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience
- Demonstrable experience (3-5 years) of working in a large telco, in a complex operational environment, and working with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior level management.
- Knowledge of/exposure to:
- Delivery of products and services to customers, managing deadlines and supporting decisions that are risk and value driven
- Functional knowledge of key OSS components (network inventory, activation, provisioning, service assurance, network management systems)
- Working on projects under Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Functional Knowledge of BSS platforms (Sales Force knowledge preferred)
- Provisioning of Mobile Networks ( Ericsson, EDA, 3PP or others)
- Experience with provisioning platforms essential (Nokia Flow One and/or Intraway required)
- Development experience required (Java, C++, Python or Others)
- Database Knowledge and scripting required
- Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
- Experience in working in both waterfall and agile projects
- Proven capability within the specified discipline [business requirements for IT solutions in telcos, mainly focused on OSS and/or Monitoring platforms] at a strong functional and technical level
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, translating complex technical language into high-level executive narrative
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach
- Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice
- Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferably in Spanish and English) and ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations

What's the role?
As a Provisioning Specialist you will works with a team of skilled SMEs that own the design, development, configuration, testing, delivery, Tier-4 support for Provisioning platforms in LCPR. Platforms that will be supported by this team will include but are not limited to Nokia Orchestration. This individual will work closely with their counterparts in the BSS and ESB Delivery teams to achieve the most complete solution. You will coordinate and collaborate with all IT teams and OSS counterparts to deliver integrated solutions that support LCPRs Strategic and Transformational Goals.
Responsibilities:
Supports the configuration, continued operations, and Tier 4 support for Orchestration and Provisioning platforms in LCPR, according to current industry best practices. Duties include, but are not limited to:
