- Bachelor's degree from accredited educational institution in school administration or an executive specialty.
- A minimum of two (2) years as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Exemplary work ethic, a positive demeanor, adaptability, and a willingness to undertake assigned tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power Point) and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and oral skills in both English and Spanish a must. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Willingness to commit and become an active participant in school life. Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the reception area, greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
- Maintain and manage the Head of School's calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
- Coordinate and confirm appointments, ensuring the efficient use of the Head's time.
- Arrange logistics for meetings, such as room setup and audiovisual equipment.
- Make travel arrangements for the Head of School, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Assist in planning and organizing school events, conferences, and functions.
- Act as liaison between the Head of School and students, employees, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, correspondence, and any other communications responding appropriately or directing them to the relevant parties.
- Prepare, distribute, and save any documents requested by the Head of School.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files for all confidential and sensitive documents.
- Maintain all Board of Trustees files, including minutes, presentations, and any other confidential documents.
- Assist the Head of School with the Parent Annual Report documentation and process.
- Assist the Head of School with the Middle States Accreditation documentation and process.
- Request and manage the required documentation for all teacher licenses provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Education.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. Details and Commitment of Position:

- 40 hours week
- Attendance at parent/school functions is expected including certain scheduled evening events.
